The premise is a standard reality site schtick - approach some random girls on the street and try to convince them to get busy with each other. Of course, it is most likely a little more staged than they would have you believe - but hey, staged or not, two friends getting it on is hot! The previews are rather playful and seem quite promising, but there's no real indication of how much content to expect, or what sort of quality will be presented to us inside the site. Nonetheless, there's enough of a teaser to get you curious enough to sign up.
Naughty Best Friends offers up 30 hot lesbian scenes (at the time of this review) and a whole bunch of bonus content. Fortunately, the exclusive content is easily distinguishable from the bonus stuff. It's nice not to have to dig through a bunch of feeds just to find the downloads!
Each scene represents one week's worth of updates... they are broken up into three movie sets and one picture set. Each movie set is further broken up into more easily downloaded or streamed segments, with both a low-band and high-band option. You can also download the whole set as one file in the high-band format. There are pics for each scene in pages of thumbnails that you can check out as well, with about 200 pics per scene. These look quite nice, very crisp and clear - no screen caps here! Sizes are either 1060x706 or 1024x768. It would be nice to have an option to download a zip file of the entire picture set, but alas, there is none.
The videos seem to be filmed in two separate locations. The girls in some of the vids are speaking French, while other ones are speaking English. The action differs between the two locations as well. The English vids follow the plot outlined in the site preview, starting with an interview and then moving along to convince the girls to get naked and start having fun with dildos and strapons. The French vids dispense with the pretense and get right to the sex. Oh, those randy French folks. They just get right down to it. In one of the vids with the dating game plot it was mentioned that they were filming in Vancouver, Canada... perhaps they have a correspondent in Quebec that films the Parisian cuties while they take care of the BC girls. Who knows? So far the dating game scenarios only happen in the vids shot in Vancouver.
The “dating game vids” are 1064kbps, 400x300 WMV movies. File sizes for the full-length vids are in the 130 MB range, with the segments coming in at about 25 MB. Low-band options clock in at 320kbps, 320x240, at about 8MB in size.
The “French vids” are presented as 464kbps, 320x240 WMVs, with the segments sizing up at around 6MB and the full-length vids coming in around 27MB. The low-band option for the older vids looks truly awful at 32kbps, 160x120. But hey, that's the price you pay for a 300KB download.
Both the English and French vids get kinda blurry when you fullscreen them, although the dating game vids look much better than the French vids. However, I don't think either of these qualify for “super crisp” status, as claimed in the site preview.
Some of the bonus content on Naughty Best Friends is actually worthwhile... there is a Downloadable MPEGs section that features a slew of movies in standard categories. The quality of these movies varies a fair bit, but much of it is comparable to the exclusive content on the site. In addition to this section, there are a bunch of streams, webcams, and chat sites that you can check out, but I consider that sort of stuff to be superfluous. If you can't download it, what good is it?
Being a fan of reality-type content, I enjoyed the movies that actually stuck to the premise of the site. The other movies were alright, but they were of a lower quality than the on-topic vids, and didn't follow the storyline, which was a little disappointing. Navigating through Naughty Best Friends was very easy, and the bonus content was well segregated from the exclusive stuff, which I definitely appreciate. I think that the price is a touch high for what you're getting here, but if there were more of the higher quality dating-game scenario vids, I would have no problem paying it.
