Brought to screaming life by the mad scientists at DDF Productions, which calls itself “the leading European adult entertainment company” and currently runs twelve erotic entertainment sites, 1by-Day is called “the sex calendar” because it is updated like clockwork seven days a week with brand new content. At this point, though, the name 1by-Day is misleading and inaccurate — the site is actually updated twice a day, once at night (1by-Night, as it were) and once during the day. Each update consists of one new photoset and one new video, meaning two new videos and two new photosets are added to the site each and every day. In other words, there is a ton of content on this site — over two hundred and sixty five thousand photos, more than eighteen thousand videos and eight hundred and ninety-one models on 1by-Day at the time of the writing of this review. 1by-Day is so serious about its update schedule that the site even has a real-time clock that counts down the time remaining until the next two updates! This constantly running countdown is accurate to the second! Clearly, 1by-Day means business.
Not only is 1by-Day called “the sex calendar,” but the site itself contains a nifty sex calendar in its members area to help members keep track of updates. The sex calendar, which displays the current week and is linked to the past sixteen weeks of updates, makes up the bulk of the main members area of 1by-Day, though there is also a Girl of the Day on display. Each day on the calendar exhibits a magazine-like headshot of the girl (or girls) that appears (or appear) in that day’s set and, true to the site’s name, each box has a headshot in it, thus proving 1by-Day is in fact updated every single day of the year (even Flag Day!). Click a date on the sex calendar and you’ll find yourself staring at that day’s update, which includes video clips, photos and basic information (measurements, hair color, age, etc.) about the model(s) in question.
You can also find what you want by browsing an assortment of content categories to help members find what they’re looking for; these categories include babes, hardcore, lesbians and teens. Content is further categorized by location, breast size, pubic hair and uniform; members can use these additional categories to quickly search for content (looking for a cheerleader with shaved pubic hair, golden locks and small breasts posing by the pool? Click cheerleader in the uniform section, shaved in the pubic hair area, small in the breasts part and pool in the locations and hit search, bud!). You can also browse by model name and/or troll the archives, which are packed with years of excellent content that is indexed by month on 1by-Day’s patented sex calendars a la the weekly one seen in the main members area. If you prefer going through the photosets and videos one by one, you can do that as well. No pressure.
The photos on 1by-Day come in three different sizes (800 pixels, 1200 pixels and 2000 pixels), though there’s no good reason to view the smaller photos unless you’re on a dialup connection. Click your preferred file size and the pic will open in a new window in a “photo viewer.” The large photos are extremely crisp and look absolutely fantastic. Sadly, the older pictures (more than 2-3 years old) on the site are smaller in size. Sigh. All the pics on 1by-Day.com have been snapped separately from the video shoots, so there are no crummy screen caps on the site or flashbulbs popping off in the videos. The sets can be downloaded in a single zipped file, but members can also look at the pictures one by one in a slideshow or not in a slideshow.
1by-Day now contains high-definition videos. Hurrah! These videos are available for download or streaming in Flash 8, QuickTime, Windows Media and DixX. Most of the videos are shot gonzo-style with one cameraman on sets made to look like bedrooms. The videos look pretty darn good and have improved over time, thus ensuring the videos will continue to get better and better.
Extras include wallpapers and outtakes (including bloopers and footage of the crew “goofing around”). And 1by-Day even takes requests! Just “tell [the webmasters] which model you want to see and what you want to see her doing” and they “will try to realize your fantasy and put it on 1by-Day!” How thoughtful! My request? Keep up the good work, guys!
1by-Day is constantly updated with new exclusive content, making it an awesome site that is unlikely to disappoint even the most jaded smut connoisseur (like me, for example). 1by-Day’s update schedule is so consistent, you could set your watch to it (I actually set mine to the site and I can tell you that the next update will be added to 1byDay in three hours, one minute and thirty-three seconds, though I have no idea what time it is). So join 1by-Day for an endless supply of masturbation fodder, but don’t set your watch to its updates even though you can.
