The streaming clips load quite fast on my connection (2250.4 kbps) and there are no buffering problems whatsoever. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a choppy stream! My only complaint would be the screen isn't as big as I'd like it and there is no option to maximize it. Overcome this problem by downloading the videos instead.
Earlier, I remarked on the movie page being interesting. The reason for this, is because with each movie you also have the option of streaming it in a series of 1 minute clips (usually around 50). I'm still scratching my head at this. I really don't see why anyone would want to watch the movie this way. My only guess would be that they are trying to cater to those with a slower connection speed? It seems this would much easier be remedied by having more quality options on the direct downloads of clips. Surely that would be less time consuming than seperating a 50 minute movie into 50 different clips?
Then again, I suppose there are ways this could 'cum' in handy. Say you want to checkout part of the episode but don't want to count on a still shot or reading the synposis. Clicking on one of these clips would be way to find out what kind of action is going on within. Also, I think these could come in handy if there's a certain scene (lasting 1 minute) that you find particularly hot. You could save the clip to your harddrive and use the 'repeat' option in your video player of choice. Maybe this option isn't so useless after all...
The video quality on these is pretty decent, not the best I've ever seen but not horrible either. The sound quality on the other hand, can only be described as lacking. On some of the clips the sound is very clear but on others it's hard to make out what the girls are saying. There's also a 'hissing' like room tone sound that can more than a little distracting.
The content here is so far quite limited unfortunately (8 movies total) but after a quick examination we find the first update was on 2007-01-24, this site is brand spankin' new!
