Overall score
The overall score reflects our opinion of the site as a whole. The score is a rough average of the below mentioned scores, but can be slightly higher or lower depending on the reviewer's overall impression.
Content quality
We recently changed the name of this score from picture quality to content quality. This was due to a change in the adult online business where more and more sites offered high quality videos instead of being mostly based on pictures as earlier.
In the review text we try to specify the exact details of video quality as well - resolution, formats, duration etc.
As for pictures, they should be of good quality and resolution and not e.g. overlighted or in other ways retouched too much. We also consider originality - original and exclusive pictures are rated higher than licensed pictures.
Speed
There is nothing more frustrating than having to wait for thumbnails, pictures or videos to load.
This score illustrates how fast the site loads, and if the site has enough bandwidth to serve its users. E.g. if zip files of pictures or videos are available, it should be possible to download them reasonably fast.
When providing streaming videos, the server must be fast enough to serve the video without constantly rebuffering.
Content/promised
It is easy to promise the world in the tour, but much harder to fulfill in the members area. Here we rate how well the site lives up to its promises.
If a certain number of updates per week is promised, then we will keep an eye on the updates and write if it is indeed updated as promised.
If the site promises high quality videos it has to be high quality videos and not stamp-size animated gifs.
Price vs. content
Do you get what you pay for? Important things like how often the site is updated is illustrated by this score. This score also tells something about the amount of content - pictures and video on the site. And how much value the membership provides compared to similar sites.
Navigation
This score tells how well arranged the site is and how easy or hard it is to find what you want. It doesn't matter how much good content a site has if nobody can find it. Design and layout of the site is also evaluated here. A sleek looking design is not always preferred over a more simple, but more effective design and layout.
